Located in the northeast of the Llevant region, Cala Rajada marks the endpoint of the MA-15 highway originating from the island's capital, Palma, passing through Manacor, Artà, and Capdepera.

The landscape surrounding Cala Rajada comprises gentle hills ranging from approximately 200 to 250 meters in height, with Es Telégraf being the most prominent among them.
The peninsula Punta de Capdepera and Cap des Freu form the land termination.
