Costitx is a small village located in the central part of the island, near Sineu. The heart of the village features a prominent 17th-century church as its main landmark.
At the outskirts of the village, particularly in areas with the most wind, stand several traditional windmills.

In the higher elevated part of the municipality lies the town center along with the principal manor houses, creating an incomparable landscape with some holm oak forests.
The observatory in Costitx is the only astronomical center in the Balearic Islands and is worth a visit.
