The Far de Formentor, or Formentor Lighthouse, is a picturesque lighthouse located
on the northernmost tip of Mallorca. It stands atop a rocky cliff, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and offering breathtaking panoramic  views of the coastline and surrounding landscape.

Built in 1863, the Far de Formentor is one of Mallorca's most iconic landmarks and serves
as an important navigational aid for ships traveling along the island's rugged northern coast. The lighthouse itself is a tall white tower with a red lantern room at the top,
which emits a powerful beam of light to guide vessels safely through the waters.

Visitors to the Far de Formentor can access the site by car, following a winding road
that leads to the lighthouse parking area. From there, a short walk along a paved path
takes you to the base of the lighthouse, where you can admire its impressive architecture
and enjoy panoramic views of the coastline and sea.
